When is it useful to click “Force sync” on the PieSync Health screen?

It is useful to click this button every seven to eight days to purge PieSync’s sync cache.
When you’re actively making changes to your contacts and you don’t want to wait for PieSync’s next sync cycle.
The “Force sync” button doesn’t do anything. It’s in fact a placebo button and its sole intent is to give the user a false sense of control over the sync.
